Sport shaped who I am - I have always been seeking activity and it was THE way for me to connect with other people and push my limits. Get better and work on myself.

When injury paused my own playing career, I didn’t step away from the field — I stepped behind the lens. Nothing stops me.

Photography became my way of staying connected. Of honouring the intensity, the resilience, and the quiet moments most people never see.

I know what it feels like to train for years for a single moment. To come back from injury.

To belong to something bigger than yourself.

That’s what I look for in every frame — not perfection, but presence, the moments in between that tell the whole story.

About me

I’m Jojo (she/her): an athlete, Artist, storyteller, and professional photographer rooted in sport, movement, and connection.

Sport has shaped who I am — from playing Ultimate Frisbee competitively in Germany to pursuing a PhD in bio-inspired robotics in Australia using sport in many forms as my outlet. After a serious injury paused my own playing career, I didn’t step back from the community that shaped me — I picked up a camera and turned my passion into purpose, staying connected through what I could give.

My photography isn’t just about capturing what happened — it’s about what it felt like. I aim to reveal energy, emotion, and story in every frame.
